A FUTURISTIC plan for an incredible superyacht which features a helipad and space for a submarine has been released.
The extravagant yacht, dubbed Centauro, is the ultimate billionaire’s retreat with its indoor swimming pool, spa and private sundeck.
The yacht features a large beach club inspired by ancient temples[/caption]
Project Centauro has been designed by Italian design firm Officina Armare[/caption]
It has an entertainment area, indoor pool and diving station, hot tub and observation lounge[/caption]
With its glossy black hull, the 360-foot vessel looks like a cross between a battleship and a spaceship.
The yacht, which has a cruising speed of 18 knots, will accommodate 14 guests who will be able to enjoy the hot tub and diving station.
The team at Officina Armare say it would take around two years to build because of its complexity and size.
This means the vessel could be a reality by 2022.
It is unclear how much it would cost to produce, as the interior of the yacht will be purely based on the client’s preference.
It is the latest in a series of innovative superyacht concepts to be revealed in the past few months, as naval architects and designers attempt to push boundaries as far as they can.
While Project Centauro is just a concept at present, the team estimate it would take around two years to build[/caption]
The vessel will be powered by two MTU engines teamed with steerable water jets[/caption]
It is an elegant design with its glossy black hull and curved body[/caption]
