Two women holidaying in Majorca were allegedly raped over the weekend

One of the victims is a German woman, aged 20 with the other described as “foreign” but neither her age or nationality has yet been given.

Both women went to the hospital of Son Llàtzer where they underwent examinations.

Police say one of the offenders spoke Spanish.

The German tourist filed a complaint about a sexual assault she suffered on the beach.

The other victim went to the hospital and said she had been raped but on leaving, said she did not want to lodge a formal complaint.

But National Police have confirmed they are investigating both cases and have visited two hotels where the women were on holiday.

The German woman said she met a man at dawn when she was in a well-known drinking place on Playa de Palma.

The suspect spoke Spanish and both ended up heading to the beach.

Once there, she said the man undressed her and sexually assaulted her.

According to the victim’s version, the aggressor had full sex with her even though she opposed it, reports Diario de Mallorca.

The other “young foreign tourist” says she was raped in s’Arenal.
