Mohsen Ahmadipour told Roja Azadian, 43, he would get the next flight and they said goodbye, for the last time.

The couple had been visiting their families in Iran before they prepared to return home to Ottawa, Canada.
The plane was struck down just minutes after leaving the runway at Imam Khomeini International Airport.
Ahmadipour, 36, learned his wife of nearly six years was dead from inside the terminal.
What we know so far:
- Ukraine Interational Airlines Flight 752 crashed at 6.14am on Wednesday just after leaving Tehran bound for Kiev
- It came down three hours after Iran launched missiles at US bases in Iraq
- Pictures of the wreckage showed telltale shrapnel marks indicating an explosion
- Iran blamed an engine malfunction but refused to hand over black box flight recorders
- Justin Trudeau and Boris Johnson said intelligence points to an Iranian surface-to-air missile
Another grieving husband has revealed his wife, who was a passenger on the downed aircraft, “knew” the plane would crash.
Sheyda Shadkhoo was worried about war after US President Donald Trump ordered the killing of a top Iranian general last week and she begged her spouse for reassurance via WhatsApp twenty minutes before takeoff.
Holding up an Instagram post his wife shared before leaving Iran, Hassan Shadkhoo told CBC News: “She knew. Look at her face, look at the poem that she wrote.
He read her words: “I’m leaving but what’s behind me worries me.
“I’m scared for the people behind me.”
Hassan Shadkhoo said he is devastated and can’t imagine life without his wife of ten years.
