AN IRISH holidaymaker was arrested on suspicion of raping a Brit tourist in Magaluf – but walked free when his alleged victim refused to press charges.
The man, 22, was hauled off in cuffs after the woman told cops he assaulted her at a holiday apartment in the city centre.
She claimed she had agreed to go back with him – but had not consented to sex.
She was taken to Son Espases Hospital in the Majorcan capital Palma for a medical examination before his arrest.
The holidaymaker was released after a brief court appearance in Palma yesterday afternoon.
It comes just days after a teen lad was raped by two men after being booted out of a Magaluf brothel.

The 19-year-old, thought to be from Ireland, said he was attacked after he lost his friends after a night out in the Majorca resort.
It said the holidaymaker was enticed into the brothel by two prostitutes on the promise of a striptease – but thrown out after telling them he had no money.
The two men are said to have been waiting for him when he was kicked out on the street via a back door.
