A HORROR smash between a light aircraft and a helicopter in tourist hotspot Majorca is feared to have killed at least five people.
The tragedy unfolded at around 1pm local time near Inca – with one of the victims described as a child.
The area is just a 30 minute drive from Majorca’s capital Palma – a destination popular with Brit holidaymakers.
It is understood the two aircraft collided close to a hospital with three people confirmed dead.
But there are fears the total number could rise as emergency crews frantically work to find missing passengers.
It is not yet clear what nationality those on board were.
Inca is on the centre of the island between Palma and Pollensa and is the third largest town in Majorca.
It is predominately residential but attracts a large number of tourists because of its famous markets and public transport links.
